I have upper and lower dentures that do not fit well so I have to use a lot of super polygrip to hold them in ( and that doesn't hold them through the day) and my question is, does the fact that my gums are suffocated in this goop have anything to do with my sinus congestion?
I did a brief literature search and could find no reports of an association between denture adhesives and chronic sinusitis. My advice is, that if feasible, you arrange to get better fitting dentures and/or stop using the current “goop” for a while and note if there is any effect on the sinusitis.
