Deviated septum surgery

My son had a deviated setum corrected in January 2008. Prior to that he had respiratory problems, difficulty sleeping, stuffy nose, headaches and pressure behind his forehead. Since the surgery, breathing is okay but the pressure, the stuffiness, etc have got worse. The surgery supposedly went well. What could possibly be causing this?

Your son could continue to have some swelling of the lining of his nose.  Your son’s pediatrician can easily look into the nose and tell if this is the cause of the stuffiness.

I had the same surgery last December, and I am having the same problem. Let me know if you find anything out.
