Differing opinions among PCP and Radiologist regarding multiple small lung nodules

Hi,

I've been having a chronic cough, stabbing warm pain in lower left back area which at times radiates to chest,, chronic fatigue, shortness of breath and even a warm fuzzy feeling followed by headaches after most meals...

This has gone on for about a year, but had no health insurance until now. My PCP ordered some xrays which according to the radiologist show small focal nodules present within the left lung base and probably within the right lung base as well. He wrote that there is a hint of calcification and most likely from a previous granulomatous infection. He recommended a followup film in 6 months.

Now, my PCP said he could not find anything and he said that for now a PFT should do. If I didnt have so many respiratory and chest issues i wouldnt mind waiting, but that's not the case. I dont think i should wait another 6 months to see a lung specialist, whether or not I have lung nodules or not. In the time being, I went to Denver Health and picked up some chest xrays from 2007 which to me look the same (I wouldnt know where to start looking)...

I have never smoked, I have been exposed for 2 1/2 yrs to non-friable asbestos (vynil floor) at the old building where I work at. I have also been exposed to ocassional sewer fumes in the same building.  was given a TB shot as a kid in my native country and then given a 6 month treatment just in case when I arrived to the States.

I felt fine in 2007 through March 2008. Now this :(

If you click or copy and paste the following links you can see the full sized xrays from March '09 that supposedly show the lung nodules. You can also view the xrays from May 2007 and see if there is anything there...
