For several months I'll be fine and then all the sudden the thick mucous and the sinus infection like symptons occur. There's no pattern. It could be allergy season or not allergy season. I eat the same basic foods and drink the same drinks(milketc) all the time and am just fine then all the sudden out of nowhere will have the thick continuous mucous and will coat my vocal cords causing me to lose my singing voice or even my speaking. Friday night around 5:30 my throatCancer - throat or larynx Throat swab culture felt funny and withing 15 minutes I started losing my voice and withing 2 hours I had all but completely lost my voice. I've taken 2 zpaks in the last 6 weeks and still have the problems. I did some investigation and now think it might be from excessive yeast in my body/bloodstream. Other than that this has been on and off for years. Sometimes they mucous is greenGreen tea and an hour later it is clearClear by design Clear eyes Clear eyes acr Clear eyes clr Clear-atadine Clear-atadine children's. It's always very thick and coagulates in the water. I know all this is very gross but I'm so worn out with this and wish I could find out what's going on. Does anyone have any thoughts. Thanks.
Maybe the doctor could culture your sinuses to see what is growing in them...perhaps your antibiotics need changing due to resistance. The results of the culture will show what type of bacteria/fungus are growing as well as tell the doctor which antibiotics would be most effectiveEffective strength cough syrup in eradicating the infection. I hope this helps...Sunny
