Does anyone suffer from hoarseness in their voice?

by Cleopatra100, Oct 24, 2008 05:37AM
Hi - I was just reading all the stuff about the mucus in your throat after eating - I have had this now for the past month - but my nose has been extremely ichy for about six months - sneezing on and off all day.  However, over the last six months my voice has been hoarse - changing pitch or breaking quite often if I talk for more than a few minutes.  The pitch even changes when I have to raise my voice (I am a teacher).  It's really worried me because i've thought about many horrible and serious things that it could be in my throat!  Like I said I too have a build up of mucus in my throat after eating or drinking and if I try and talk it sounds like I'm gurgling!  Does anyone have these symptoms plus the voice loss/hoarseness - I'm just wondering if they are connected.  I am very worried there could be something sinister in my throat!  Thanks.
