Does lung restriction mean COPD
I had a PFT done because I had feeling of not being able to breath or catch a breath. I am currently taking medication for GERD and have a history of aniexty and depression.  The doctor stated my PLT  showed some restrtiction I asked if that meant I had COPD she said she she thinks it is my aniexty.  However she did prescribe an inhaler, zoloft and scheduled me for allergy tests.  I did suffer with asthma as a child and was allergic to numerous things.  However I am very concerned with the results of the PTL test.  In addition if I eat too much I get an overwelming feeling of fullness and  of breathlessness.  Can I have a lung restriction and not have COPD? I quit smoking 13 years ago I smolked for about 18 years.
