Dry Cough

I had a very bad cough and pain in my right side of my chest two years back which was later diagonised as  tuberculosis. one of my lung was filled with fluid.Ihad it cured.Everthing was well till now.but since few days i have dry cough.It comes in spells.however i don't have any pain in my chest.But it is bothering me.Doc said nothing to worry.I have taken the medicine  prescribed by the doctor.But the cough is still bothering me.What should i do?Your answer might help.

Coughing is a very common problem of lots of infections and allergic states.  If the cough is persistent, getting worse, associated with a fever, you might want to discuss this with your physician again and possibly get a chest x-ray.  Having a history of TB does not mean that each time you get a cough it has come back.  However, having had TB means that a persistence of symptoms should be evaluated.
