Since I was a child I always have had the following problem :
I feel like normalNormal saline flush breathing does not allow air in my lungs and therefore I take a deep breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor or yawn to try to get air to my lungs. Sometines it is succesful and air does get in, and sometimes I have to repeat the deep breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor or the yawning again... And this problem continues on perhaps a minute basis for hours or days....
I may not have this problem for days, sometimes months, or even several years, but then it does come back afterwards. Right now I am having this problem.
I am a 40 y.o male.
I also consulted doctors and was checked for asthma (even with exercice), heart, but there was nothing special.
Doctors eventually told me that it is anxiety !
I have one brother (45 y.o.) and ha has exactly the same problem..
I want to add the fact that if the deep breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor or the yawning is not successful in allowing air into my lungs then I will cough right after to get air out of my lungs ! Looks like air is trapped in the lungs and won't go out to allow oxygen to get in.
This probem does not get worse (fortunately) with exercice. I am a runnner and this has never prevented me from running or made me interrupt my running.
