EXCESSIVE DRAINAGE AND COUGHING IS BACK AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN!

I have done all of the doctors I think I needed to solve this problem. I am convinced that I have sinus drainage at night. Like the others on your site; the coughing goes on for about 2 hours to clear my air passages.  I use nasonex once a day and take one singular before bedtime at about 9 p.m. and it helped for about 2 weeks. Will a simple sinus operation help?
The following is a quote from my second follow up ct scan " a smal amount of mucoperiosteal thickening is identified along the inferior aspect of the right sphenoid sinus, decreased from the previous exam.  Again noted is partial opacification of ethmoid cellules, relatively stable from the previous exam.  Increased soft tissue in the dependent aspect of both maxillary sinuses.  There appears to be soft tissue opacification at both osteomeatal units.  Some mild mucoperiosteal thickening in the inferior aspects of both frontal sinuses.  Slight deviation of the nasal septum to the right. "IMPRESSION" STABLE TO MINIMAL INCREASE IN PAN SINUS DISEASE AS DESCRIBED ABOVE"  unquote.
I've done many OTHER tests; the lung funtion was perfect;all allergies tests were perfect(no allergies); stess tests showed nothing, the echo/2-d/doppler/color -flow showed normal, the esophagram with cineradiography was normal, the ct neck, with and without iv contrast, with and without esophageal contrast indication showed normal, lung x-rays showed normal,a normal EGD was performed,T.B. test was negative, and no actute abnormality in a CT scan without contrast...What's left?sinus operation?

It is not definite that the only step remaining is sinus surgery.  Prior to surgery, you want to be treated with a combination of an antibiotic for a prolonged time, a steroid spray that is used daily, and steroid pills for a short time.  If this does not clear up the problem you are describing, then surgery may be your only remaining option.
