I also have had excessive saliva for about 4 years which increases as the day goes on; worse right after a meal or beverage. It is always annoying and I tried going to an ENT specialist who injected botox into the salivary glands several times. I do have GERD but is not a large hiatal hernia from what the specialist told me. I would like to see this problem resolved. Nothing really has worked for me.I am now age 62
I am sorry to hear of your problem. I suspect this is a real nuisance and perhaps even an embarrassment. I have no special knowledge of this condition but do know that the disease most often associated with this condition is Parkinson’s Disease and you might want to ask your doctor about this possibility.
