About 1 1/2 years ago I became short of
breathBreath alcohol test
Breath holding spell
Breath odor with alot of
wheezing. I went to a well known hospital this year after many cat scans and tests and found that I had inflammation of the windpipe right below the voice box. I had a
laryngoscopy and had my windpipe stretched in May 2004. Since that time, I have been experiencing alot of phlegm when I eat. Doesnt seem to matter what I eat, it is always triggered by food. I also saw a allergy specialist, with no found allergies, but that Doctor said I had chronic sinusitis. Would my sinus have anything to do with this? Has anyone ever heard of stretching the windpipe or this type of problem? Please reply if you have any info. Thank you.

Gastro reflux disease could contribute to the problem.
Wegener's granulomatosis could result in the stenosis and nasal problems.
Maybe time for another opinion from a top rated teaching hospital.
are used; saline nasal washes can help. Sudafed could be tried. You might want to consult an ENT. See:
