FVC decreased after medication

I had my first PFT the other day. My premed FVC was 2.91/85% and my postmed FVC was 1.89/55%. Why did the FVC go down after medication? And the interpretations said that my PREMED indicates normal  spirometry and my POSTMED indicates moderate restriction. I'm confused with these results. Can you tell me why after meds I would be worse then before meds.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The test values  should not come down after the medication, it could be due to faulty technique. The normal spirometry values are FVC-80-120% and FEV-80-120%. You can repeat the test to confirm.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
