Father Critical

by Papu, Nov 06, 2004 12:00AM
My father has been diagnosed and treated for acute Tubercolosis. The liver has been affected very badly by the infection. After about 30 days of treatment, the infection has been brought under control howver he is slipping into an unconscious condition. There is no response to even very painful stimuli.

Is there any way to make him regain consciousness?

The only way he might regain consciousness is to find what has caused his unconscious condition.  Then the cause needs to be treated.

The doctors told us he was in hepatic coma...

I regret to inform you that he passed away 2 days back.Although I know that any information that you may give now may not be helpful in treating him , I would still like to know if there was any way in which he might have been brought out his comatose condition.

Thanking You.
