Fever, Chest Pain

Jan 2nd I awoke with front of head hurting - like bad eye strain.  Continued for 3 days when fever began.  Have had fever every late afternoon through night since.  Generally around 100 though will go to 101 when I take Tylenol.  Blood workups done, lung xray, and CT scans of chest and abdomin (abdomen).  Nothing found.  No other symptoms until this past week.  Now I have deep long coughs.  My chest hurts all the way to my back in the center.  Worse in evenings when fever returns.  Fever is starting to reduce and past two days was 99-100.  But now deep long coughs with this pain.  Sometime if I move I get very sharp pain in chest/back.  I have an appointment for next Tuesday.  Should I wait with this new symptom?

Im not a doctor, but it sounds like you could have a fungal infection which wouldnt show up unless cultures specific for those were done. Two types come to mind that you may want to research,, one type is common in the north and the other in california/new mexico both are called valley fever which exists everywhere but coming down with a true 'infection' from it is only common for those with compromised immune systems due to chemo, steroids for inflammation problems ect. Wishing you luck... Jennifer
