Fever, Coughing, Fever Blisters

I came down with a cough about 4 days ago it got worse by day 2, so i decided to go into a walk in clinic they told me i had a sinus infection and bronchitis. They Put me on Amoxicillain and sent me home Today i became worse and broke out in fever blisters are these normal in a case of bronchitis?...I went to a differant walk in clinic and they put me on new meds and sent me home again. I have a low grade fever ranging from 99.5 to 101.8. I wake up in the morning just sweating and im completly drenched, i am coughing so bad i throw up or gag...can someone please tell me what is going on and if this is more serious than bronchitis??
