Five Times

by Darkmoonium, Jul 11, 2008 09:57AM
A few years ago I was with a friend walking around doing normal activities when  began to experience some pain in my upper chest area. I believed it was my asthma as I had just been diagnosed with it only a few months prior to this so i took two puffs off my inhailer and continued with my day. The pain did not subside, it only became more frequent and more sever. As the night went on it almost became unbearable. I went home from my friends and my mom made me take a bath and take some tylonol because she believed it was muscle pain. I tried to lay down to sleep but it only got worse. She took me to the E.R. and I was diagnose with pleurisy and given anti-inflamatoy pills and pain killers. Since this incident I have had the same pain occuring in the same fashion of light pain to extrem pain four more times and now I'm being told it's not Pleurisy at all. I'm waiting for a specialist to call me back with appointment info. but in the meantime I thought I'd do my research. The pain is the worst at night and i've woke from sleeping twice in ecrutiating pain so bad but I couldn't even roll on the floor because that hurt too. It's pretty bad when I take in deep breaths but feels a little better when i lay on the sore side(left). If anyone has any idea what this might be, please, I'm all ears.
