The radiologist interpreting the CT scan would request that you have a follow up CT scan based on the degree of certainty about the scar tissue. When anything is seen on a CT scan it’s
commonCommon cold to have it repeated. Having the follow up CT scan in 3 to 4 months is reasonable.
You could also ask your doctor to have your CT scan reviewed by a different radiologist. A radiologist who specializes in chest imaging would be most helpful.
