H1N1 and lung damage

I had H1N1 in November along with septis and pneumonia, now 8 months later I am still having pain when I take deep breaths.  My spirometry reading is 55% and I can not breath very well.  My Dr. does not seem concerned, but I am.  Should I still be having pain when I breath?  I can not take a deep breath, is this normal?  I also can not hiccup without screaming in pain or sneeze.  I don't know what my next step should be?
