For the past month, I was suffering with left side chest pain, within the past week, the pain is more left side chest pain which is worse at night and when laying down. Last night, I was also having a stabbing pain (like a needle) on the left side chest pain. I was also recently told I have a rapid heart rate. The echocardiogram came back ok. I had problems doing the lung function tests and they are suggesting possible narrowing of the windpipe, although shortness of breath is hardly a problem of me. It would occur in minor cases, i.e. climbing a few stairs. A year ago, I had a biopsy done for a thyroid nodule, the result was a colloid cyst and was not removed. I was also born prematurely and had a tracheostomy at the age of 3 months till 3 years old.
I hope you can give me some insight I know the echocardiogram is okay and there is no evidence of MVP but I cannot stop thinking there is something wrong with my heart, or even heart attack happening on the way. I don't sleep at night from all this, as laying down hurts too much
