HELP! What can rhis be?!?!?!

3 months ago-12 noncalcified pulmonary nodules (3mm-7mm) were found by accident on a CT scan done for unrelated issues...................................................................

I went for my first followup ct today-then i waited for the call from my dr....not good news, but no bad news is still kinda good news to me! :)

My nodules showed very little growth, if any, said could be from diffrerent scanning anlges and nodules can look bigger on one side from another, yet nothing signifigant nonetheless!

Thats the good news----

Bad news? Well, theres 3 more nodules--7mm in size. i also found that a CT done at UNC showed 10 nodues they never told me about back in november of last year.

10 nodules in Nov2008, 12 nodules in June2009, and 15 nodules in Sept2009

Whats going on here? what could this be? they may not be growing , persay----but they are multiplying---anyone ever heard of this? any clue as to what these are or where they came from? ever heard of this before?
