Have I a nasal polyps

I have been suffering with blocked sinuses  and pain in my face and nose,now for nearly a year. antibiotics dont help, nasonex spray helped a bit. I am just getting over a very bad cold and its flared up again, ive got the feeling of thick mucas in the very bottom of my throat that wont go away and a blocked left nostril, previous to my cold my left nostril which i have the trouble with had been bleeding sometimes quite a lot over the last six weeks. 15 years ago i had a nasal polyp in the same nostril but it was sprayed with something and went away, with no trouble since, until now.My doctor has now given me Beconase Aqua steroid spray, could this be a polyp returned and can they bleed, even if you havnt blown your nose. Do they grow from the nose and down to the back of the throat and is that what could be making hard to breath, sometimes i gag. please help.
