Help?

by qlewis, Mar 12, 2008 10:53PM
Okay, so i think i may have what you guys are referring to. Let me know if what i am experiencing is similar to you. I have a sharp, piercing pain in my upper back on the left side. It also hurts a little in my side and shoulder. I feel somewhat nauseated but that may just be from the actual pain. i feel very hot. but then i get chills. It came on very suddenly and at first i thought it was because i hadn't eaten but when i did eat they persisted. I just want to know what is going on with my body and what to do to fix it. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks
qlewis

Hi, sharp pains are usually associated with nerve inflammations called neuritis or neuropathy. This could be either intercoastal nerves or cervical nerves getting compressed. Other possibility is muscular pain.

Get yourself investigated, X ray cervical and dorsal spine will be helpful. Try topical medications like pain killer gels or counterirritants along with vitamin B preparations. Is pain associated with cough and fever?
