Hi, i am suffering with the same thing, i've had it for almost three weeks now, i have been given antibiotics but as it is viral i dont believe they will make much difference (i think the doc was just being cautious). I have started vomiting now too. there is a big bronchitis bug going around at the moment and it is lasting between 2-10 weeks for most people, i have been off work for a week already with no sign of getting better yet. Just ensure he is resting thats all I can say. If you dont sleep and rest the body it will take so much longer to clear up. drink lots of water too. apart from that there's not much that can be done unfortunately.
