How to treat fluid in the lungs?

by lyn gardener, Feb 06, 2002 12:00AM
My aunt's ovarian cancer recurred in her ribs, she underwent chemo to treat the ovarian cancer, now she is in natural healing to treat the recurrence. Her ribs are healing but there is still fluid in her lungs. How can this be treated without using radiation or chemo therapy?

Cancer can be one of many causes of fluid in the lungs.  The treatment would be based on the cause and the location of the fluid.  If the fluid is in the lungs, treating the cancer, based on your aunt’s doctor’s advice, may help.  Placing drugs into the chest area around the lungs may help when the fluid is surrounding the lungs.
