I cant get a full breath

Im 18 years old, 5 ft 6 and a small size 12. i eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water although i do smoke every so often, but i cannot get a full breath, it seems as though i have to yawn too fill my lungs up comfortably. Iv been having this problem for 4 or 5 months, maybe more. I have been to see the doctor and he gave me beconaise..as he said one of my nasal passages were small, but that hasnt worked, im going to make another appointment with a nurse but wondered if anyone could help until then? I really want to get this sorted as its not a good look at work when im yawning every 3 or 4 minutes to take a full breath and my lungs are full filled. Please help! thanx
