Ok well Yesterday was 1 week since I went to the doctor and started taking all this. I have not noticed to be any better at all. I can go back and get another x-ray, but I do not have insurance and spent $330 for everything and I feel I paid $330 for absolutely nothing so im scared to go again in fear to waste my money again. Any thoughts on this?
I think you need further evaluation - basically they gave you an antibiotic, which should clear up infection and two meds for Asthma /or Respiratory Disorder, both preventative medications -If your PFT didn't work for whatever reason, you still need to get a PFT to show what is wrong -
The whole diagnosis seems a bit sketchy to me. Dark circles doesn't neccessarily mean you have allergies, fluid on the lung is more likely to be pneumonia than allergies?
They don't just willy nilly put people on Singulair or Advair -
You need to get answers. If you don't have the cover or the money, I would ring up the medics at the centre ( ask for the Doctor who treated you or their secretary) and ask why you are on these medications and how long you need to take them for before you see any improvements.
Well they told me to come back in 3-4 weeks for another X-ray to see if there was any improvement. Fri I used the rest of the Prescription and the Biaxin. I have about a weeks worth left of the Advair and at least 3 weeks worth left of the Sigulair. I know its only been a week, but I used all of 2 out of 4 of the things they gave me with no improvements so I guess Ill wait another 3 weeks or so to see any inprovements. The PFT test I kept having a bad start they said. They said I had to blow for a 10-12 seconds, but I couldnt do it,
