I need help!

by Anavela, Aug 23, 2007 06:24PM
Okay, im fifteen years olds and i don't have major symptoms, but i've had the same symptoms for a while now. one of them is feeling tired all the time. i can't seem to have a day where i feel completely rested. another symptom is lack of energy. i don't have any of it anymore, and im guessing it's because i'm tired but i do get a lot of sleep and i even take naps, so i don't know. the third and final symptom is these werid sharp pains in my lower chest area. i've been told that it's my diaphram. anyways, i don't experience that symtom a lot. it happens every once and while and i don't know what it is or how to stop it from happening. i had just gotten home from school today and i laid down in bed for a nap. i turned from my side onto my back and i recieved a sharp pain in that general area and it would not go away for a while. if i breathed in, the pain increased, and if i moved, the pain increased. so finally, i just positioned myself onto my back and gave it a few minutes. that was when it went away. i'm just concerned that this is an early symptom of something and that it may increase if i don't do anything about it.

This shouldn't be happening. Who told you it was your diaphragm, a doctor? You need to see another doctor, take an adult with you who is prepared to push for tests and answers. How long have you had the sharp pains for? months, weeks or days. Pleurisy (lung inflammation) could cause your symptoms but I wouldn't expect pleurisy to linger for months on end. You really need to see a doctor.
