Interstitial Lung Disease

by avik247, Feb 14, 2008 03:17PM
I am 48 Yrs who had been diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease about 15 years ago (after I took an open lung biopsy), although lung capacity is stable all these years, I had a cough that started about 4 years that DOES NOT stop.
FEV1 2.31 , SVC 2.78, FVC 2.69, TLC 4.05,   FEV1 / FVC  85%

I am worry that although there is not much change in lung capacity, that cough is putting a huge toll on my body. (in the mornings after I get up I have cough attacks which result sometimes almost to vommiting) , It looks as the diffusion went down from  2004  17.5  to  15.1  in the last week. What does that means? What should I be expecting?
