Is my daughter overdosing?

My daughter Elisha has suffered from Asthma since birth, and has been on a whole range of drugs throughout her short live of ten years. At present she is taking,750mg of flixotide daily,600mg of serevent daily, and 5mg of ventolin via a nebuliser morning and evening. Elisha weighs 63lb at present, and her average peek flow on an adult meter is 150. should i ask her specialist what other combination of drugs might be suitable please advice.
This is Elisha's worst time of the year due to the inclement climet here in the U.K., Elisha spends all of the winter with continual infection, indeed the last two winters she has suffered with phnumonier, pulmenary, am i doing all i can for my daughter, as always im left feeling guilty not knowing which way to turn. Elisha has now been registered disabled for the last six months, anybody who can advise, please do.

yours Tilly U.K.

The fall and winter months are the worse months for many children with asthma.  It is a good idea to prepare for this time.  Working with your specialist is also an excellent idea to get your daughter on the best possible therapy before she gets an infection and also to have a plan as to how to proceed when and if an infection occurs.
Some basic approaches to this time are:
1. Increase the inhaled steroids, if possible.
2. Add a leukotriene antagonist to the inhaled steroids for the winter months.

Good luck
