I am male, 32 yrs old, and 170 cm tall. 6 weeks ago I caught a cold, diagnosed as bacterial infection. The symptoms all went away, but the cough is still there!
I had a chest x-ray which revealed inflated lungs. Then I did a pulmonary function test (PFT) which was completely normal. I am not short in breath. I don't have fever or any other symptom either. But I continuously cough. Dr. prescribed me Advir inhaler to take twice a day and he said used it until you stop coughing.
My fear is this turning into some sort of chronic problem like asthma. Any thought on that would be very helpful..
