"Lump in my throat" and Chronic hoarseness

I have been bothered by a lump in my throat feeling and chronic hoarseness for at least a year. I constantly feel the need to clear my throat or cough. I finally went to an ENT. He has ruled out acid reflux, and I have been subjected to barium xrays of my throat and outpatient surgery so that he could use the scope to examine my throat and vocal cords. He found nothing. The one thing he has not done is consider that it might acutally be allergy-related or sinus-related as I have no other symptoms. Has anyone had a similar experience? It really does seem to be getting worse, and I am growing frustrated.

I have used every thing possible with no results, don't know if it's sinus, deviated septum but the Hoarseness continues.
