2 1/2 years ago, I had a heart scan. Everything was fine except for a 7mm subplural calicified nodule in my left lung. I recently had a CT scan done because I was worried and the doctor told me that they found some nodules (some of which were calified). He said the radiologist wasn't too concerned by the looks of the scan. He said he didn't think cancer was an issue, but I'm really worried. He suggested a follow-up in 6 months. What could this be? What can cause these things? I'm 38 and have never smoked and am really concerned. Please advise....
Hope all is well - if you get this - please let me know how your doing.
