Lung polyps are called endobronchial polyps.  Although relatively rare, they are real.  They are associated with chronic infectious disease of the lungs such as bronchiectasis.  Please read our bronchiectasis information at http://www.nationaljewish.org/disease-info/diseases/bronchiectasis/index.aspx to learn more.
