This is a good combination. As long as this is helping your breathing there would not be any health reason to make changes. While this is a good combination it does not include the newest medicine being used to treat COPD. Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) decreases shortness of breath, keeps COPD from flaring up, and lessens hospitalizations due to COPD. Since this medicine would not replace any of the medicines that you are taking at this time, there would not be any cost savings for you. Please talk with your doctor to see if there is a way to streamline your medicines so that you are taking the ones that will help you the most while keeping the cost as low as possible.
It may take some experimenting, working CLOSELY with your doc to find the best combination of medications for you, which adequately control your symptoms and have the fewest side effects, and are within your budget.
Good luck!
