Miliary Abdominal TB with bands relapse?

by Rahuldev, Apr 12, 2007 12:00AM
Actually last year I underwent a surgery bcoz I had "Miliary Abdominal TB with bands'. After that I was on medication for full 1 year.  Got my ultrasound done and the surgeon who operated upon me said everything is good.  Then after 10 days of completing medicines I started coughing.  I visited my surgeon and he told me that this is due to weather change.  But I wasn't convinced ... then I went to a second doctor to get a second opinion and he took an X-RAY of my chest ... he also said the samething that everything is good and he prescribed some medicines to me  .... I was relieved but even after taking medicines for the last 2 weeks ... I am still coughing ..
In total I have been coughing for the last 60 days ...

This cough is very similar to one I had before my Abdominal TB surgery.  Although I don't have fever and neither I am losing weight.  But I feel like I am sick bcoz of this persistent cough.  Also one of the doctors I visted told me that this could be the side effect of the TB medicines ... is that possible ???? Moreover he said that he has seen cases where patients develop Astma right after completely TB treatment.

I really don't know what's wrong with me .... can you please provide me a direction of treatment/diagnose for this cough.

Thanks
