Multiple pulmonary nodules

I am 39 year old smoker, recently diagnosed and treated for cervical adencarcinoma in Dec 07. Staging Ct showed multiple pulmonary nodules non-calcified metastaics disease cannot be eliminted. Oncologist says the cervical would not have spread to lungs. Pulmonologist suspected fungi, all fungal tests are negative. There is nine noldules "tiny" in size, all different lobes both lungs. Does anyone have ideas on what this could be???

my dad had stage1 colorectal cancer and none of his levels showed any signs of lung metastasis but he also had lung nodules they wanted to watch and finally took one out and it was part of original cancer so what ever u do don't take this likely make them do something not just watch it he too i a smoker we r still fighting these nodules that r coming up

You say you are still(?) a smoker?????
You are poisoning your body; your are poisoning your lungs.  Quit the cigarettes now, and hope it is not too late.  Why do you people smoke with the persistant evidence out there that you are shortening your lives, literally, by decades?
