Multitude of symptoms but Sudden loss of breath and Spasm, almost passed out.

Hi Everyone,
This is a long one, so bare with me if you can.

The basics: 28 year old male, 5'10, 250 lbs( I know working on it) asthma since I was born.

For the past 4 months or so I've been suffering from a multitude of symptoms. Literally 24/7 Heart palpitations(pounding hard and only slightly fast) , shaking, nausea, chest pain, shortness of breath, throat tightness and pain, dizziness, tremors and muscle spasms. All of which could mean lots of things. At least according to the internet.

It started after I almost fainted and my blood pressure spiked. 6 months prior to this I came back from a flight from California, I immediately started having leg pain, couldn't extend it at all without major pain. But seeing as I was in a car accident in 2010 with 2 bulging discs in my lumbar, I figured thats what it was. Jump to 6 months later and the pain got worse, I can't bend over to put on my socks, or tie my shoes and getting out of my car is excruciating. Then in December I came across some article when searching for sciatica stretches that said some girl had the same pain and died from a blood clot. Well blood clots run in my family heavily so I freaked out. That night I was laying in bed and then all of a sudden my pain was gone. I could move my leg every which way. I got up to show my girlfriend and boom, I started getting tunnel vision and fell over. I immediately screamed for an ambulance because I thought I was dying. Like the blood clot moved and It was going to kill me. We went to the hospital and my blood pressure was 198/107, They did many tests, d-dimer, ct scan with and without dye, blood tests etc. and  I was released with an all clear but my blood pressure was still 179/103. No medication was given for the blood pressure.

Afterwards I went and got all sorts of tests done, thyroid is good, d-dimer tests good, blood tests are normal, multiple ecgs normal, thorax Ct with dye normal, chest X-ray normal, stress test is normal, echocardiogram normal, 7-day event monitor normal, Holtor monitor was clear, Blood pressure is a tad high, normally it was 120/80 but it's increased to 140/90. Also my cholesterol is "very high" according to my GP. I am now waiting for an MRI, MRA and EEG from a neurologist.

When I came back from the all clear from my cardiologist I was definitely less anxious about it all but my heart palpitations continued, the brief dizziness and fatigue continued. It's driving me crazy.

I recently I felt a different form of palpitation, while normally it was pounding, so hard it would shake the bed, and just slightly increased at about 110, it started to flutter. Not like a couple of beats in a row, but more like quivering out of sync. Scared the crap out of me but I managed to calm down and it hasn't happened since. However once it did my brain got a little foggy, couldn't focus and I had a feeling of fullness in my chest. Like pressure but I wouldn't say painful.

Sometimes when I lean back on the couch I start getting that pressure again, this time more severe and my heart starts pounding very hard. I feel a bit of discomfort in my shoulder. My head feels full, like a balloon is swelling up in there. My neck feels tight and swollen but there's no visual difference. Last week I almost called 911 but I waited and it started to subside. However the neck pain, head pain, and chest discomfort are still there. As well as jaw discomfort that I'm just noticing. I went for a walk that time thinking that maybe I psyched myself out and it was a panic attack. But I'm really starting to think that it's something else.

Of course now this week is a ton of muscle spasms all over my body. My tongue cramps up which is something i've never even heard of, my throat feels tight, right at the base of my neck between that "v" if you will.

Today though scared the hell out of me. I was at work and right as I breathed in my chest or throat or something tightened up, I immediately couldn't breathe. Well thats not entirely accurate, it was more like my throat was extremely tight, my breath was light, but also scratchy, almost like right after you choke and something goes "down the wrong pipe" Sort of how it's painful to breathe and you cough a lot. It felt very much like that afterwards but it almost felt like my esophagus spasmed. At the exact same time I felt my heart skip a beat, but not like a pause, like it stopped and then there was this pressure building in my chest and then "WHAM" my heart started again and it hurt.

This has sort of happened before, to a much lesser extent. Sort of like I lost my breath for a second, but this felt like it might be the last time I breathed. It was terrifying.

Before this I was the least anxious person you could meet. Nothing bothered me, I could talk to anyone, make friends with anyone, I was outgoing and weird and fun. But now I feel like a shell, with all this going on I can't think of anything but my health and it's ruining my relationship.

Anxiety and panic run in my family, but it always started before they were 21. I'm 28 now and I've never had an ounce of anxiety prior. Of course every doctor after running the tests that they did say it's anxiety. Which hey, who knows maybe it is. I'm seeing a psychologist. I can't find a psychiatrist within a 50 mile radius that is accepting new patients so it will have to do right now. But I really believe that there is more to this than anxiety.

Can anyone help me figure out what this could be? Believe it or now I've left a decent bit out and to anyone who has read this far, you're amazing. If it is anxiety, has anyone ever felt these things? I've been tested for just about everything but I don't see how any of this could be just anxiety for this long, non stop.
