I am a 30 year old femaleCondoms Female condoms Female sexual dysfunction, who started experiencing shortness of breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor a few weeks ago. I went to my fam. doctor and my 02 sats were between 91 and 93. They ordered a chest xray, and a heart ultrasound( which came back fine) Chest x-ray showed inflammation of the lungs. They started treating me for an infection and I was feeling better. 1 week later I went for my follow up appointment and 02 sats were still 90-93 and they started shuffling me around for more tests. I had another chest xray and a CT scan of my lungs. A pulmonologist saw me right away that day, and did pulmonary function tests, as well as reviewed my ct scan. He seemed concerned that I was not eliminating all CO2 as I breathe out. He suggested that it may be an alphaAlpha 1-proteinase inhibitor Alpha e Alpha fetoprotein Alpha lipoic Alpha lipoic acid Alpha tocopherol Alpha-lipoic acid Alpha-lipoic-acid-300 1 antritrypsin deficiency that I have been tested for, and he also suggested a disease called LAM-which could someday require a lung transplant. I am SOOOO stressed out. I don't feel bad. My oxygen sats were dropping to about 88 upon exertion during a test that they did at pulmonogy office, and they wanted me on oxygen therapy on any exertion which I am not doing. I did talk to another doctor of mine and he is willing to work with me on how much I need oxygen therapy. I was just hoping for some feedback from some people who may have some experience with this stuff. The pulmonologist scared me to deathDiscussing death with children Gangrene Liver cell death Loss of a child - resources Sudden infant death syndrome!!!
