Need help

Hi,
I am getting little cough these days when i getup  in the morning.Rest of the whole day i am ok. I also have acidity problem. I noticed green mucus in sputum. i also feel short of breathing some  times. i want to know why do we green mucus and is it sign of some thing wrong?

I forgot to tell you that i have very light white wounds at the end of my throat.
