Pain breathing

I am 20 weeks pregnant and have had a "cold" for the last 5 weeks. Symptoms have veried- Low grade fever (100), coughing, sore throat and of course nasel congestion with headache (typical with pregnancy). Now for the last two days my lungs burn and it hurts when I inhale very deeply- and I haven't been coughing as much as before and it's a dry cough. Aside from this cold that won't quit I have had a very healthy prenancy. What could cause this burning?

No cold lasts for 5 weeks.  Nor is a cold associated with burning of the lungs.  Your symptoms suggest that some other type of respiratory infection is the problem.  You need to be seen by your doctor for examination of your throat and lungs.  Gastroesophageal reflux can cause the burning of heartburn but this does not usually occur with inhalation.
