Pleurisy and Pregnant.

I am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. How will pleurisy affect my baby? Will It hurt it??

Hello and hope you are doing well.

In pleurisy. the pleura, the lining of the chest cavity and lungs can get inflamed causing pain with coughing. It can be caused by infections or inflammations. In infections certain viral infections can affect the baby. Non infectious causes may not affect the baby. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.
