It might be worth your while to have an endocrinologist do bloodwork to check your thyroid functioning. A blood panel should include checking the following levels: TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh, Free T3, Free T4, Reverse T3, anti-thyroglobulin antibodies and anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies.
Also, you can do a simple home test where you place a regular old-fashioned (not digital) thermometer under your armpit for 10 minutes first thing in the morning before you get up. If your temperature is below 97.8 for 2 or more consecutive mornings, that's a strong sign you could have hypothyroidism.
