A recent CT scan was normalNormal saline flush and showed mild peribronchovascular thickening in lower part of lungs. However, because of a chronic cough for a year and a half, high eosinophil count and gradual shortness of breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor when walking, my dr. decided to send me for further evaulation. No results yet from HRCT, but during rehab 6 min. walk (on level ground) my O2 went from 97% to 91% and it was suggested I need to consider using oxygen during exercise. My PFT was also done, and my lung diffusion looked pretty good. All in all, I am wondering if I am wasting my time and money pursuing this. From everything I have read, interstitialInterstitial cystitis (ic) Interstitial cystitis - resources Interstitial nephritis lung disease will present with abnormal lung diffusion. Has anyone on this forum been diagnosed with ILD and had normalNormal saline flush lung diffusion? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also, I was positively diagnosed in 2002 with dermatomyositis.
