Sounds like youve been having it bad,
Do you get palpitations by any chance?
Do you sweat, and become heat intolerant?
Graves disease also can affect the eyes causing a condition called TED.
Also diabetes can cause eye problems, too, so keep a check on the eyes, my dad as just had to have laser treatment for diabetes bleeds in the eyes, he his insulin dependant.
Thyroid disease can run in families too,
Do your anxiety symptoms and panic attacks come on when your sugar levels are high or low. it would probably be best to check the levels next time this happens to you.
Then if your sugar levels are normal, maybe you should be looking at another cause to your symptoms.
Maybeseeing an ENT specialist, as you might have nasal polyps, or you could have a nodule on the thyroid, or it could be allergies.
Good luck in here if you require anymore info
God bless you too.

Hi, again, Nicola. Sorry I didn't use your name in my last post. I've also had laser eye surgery to poke holes in my eys to releave presser to avoid glaucoma. (Remember Marty Feldmn? He died of complications from Graves Disease). Scarey!

Thank you, Thyroidian. I. too, thought the same thing, and spoke with my doctor about my thyroid. He said a simple blood test confirmed I had no issues with my thyroid. I asked him about Graves Disease, since a relatively distant cousin had it, as well as other distant relatives. All my issues hit “all of a sudden” 2 years ago. I believe that because I am unemployed and have no insurance, that the Clinic does not wish to incur any further expenses. Thank you again for the validation. Blessed Be, Thyroidian.
I have graves disease, which is an hyperactive thyroid, causes anxiety weight loss etc.
But with my thyroid disease which i have had for 12 years, its given me very bad nasal drip, and sinus trouble.
Thyroid disease can also be connected to diabetes as well, as they are both endocrine diseases.
Have you been tested for allergys. have an IGE blood test done you may have allergys causing the nasal drip,
But with you saying panic attacks it sent alarm bells ringing for thyroid disease, mainly overactive,
Its worth seeing if its your thyroid or allergys.
Hope this helps if i can be of any help to you just message me.
I know all about panic attacks, as i suffered with them badly until i was diagnosed with graves disease.
take care
Nicola
