Pulmonary artery pressure of 42

I am a healthy 29 year old female.  I have a functional heart murmur, so I have an echo annually just to have it checked.  Last year my pulmonary artery pressure was 40.  This year it is 42.  The doctor things this is just normal for me.  Later this month I have to go for an x-ray.  Is 42 high?

The normal pulmonary artery pressure is 25/15.  So your reading of 42 is high.  You should see a doctor that specializes in pulmonary hypertension.  This doctor may also do further testing of your functional heart murmur.
