I am sorry if this isn't the right forum - but it seems the others are "full" for the day. I have this really annoying recurring sickness that I have had for the last 4 or more years now. It always seems to happen after a night of heavy drinking and smokingQuitting smoking Smoking - tips on how to quit Smoking and copd (chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder) Smoking and smokeless tobacco Smoking hazards and staying up late - but now recently all it took was 7 beers and I got it again. It always does the same thing - It starts with an extremely painfulPainful menstrual periodsswollenSwollen glands, soar throatCancer - throat or larynx Throat swab culture which last for about one or two days and then turns into a runny congested noseNose fracture with mucus constantly dripping down the back of my throatCancer - throat or larynx Throat swab culture and I seem to sneeze a lot too for a few more days then at the end of the sickness I usually start coughing constantly - all the symptoms get worse at night especially the coughing - if I don't breath slowly I will cough constantly. The worst part is that coughing and soar throat can last for weeks - and even that late after the sickness, if I decide to go out and drink - the sickness can start all over again. It seems to happen every 4 months and I have had it checked out before for strep but I am not sure if it came back positive - I believe it didn't. When I do research it seems the most similar sickness to this could be some kind of recurring bacterial infection, maybe tonsillitis since the sickness seems to start with a really swollen soar throat that feels like its caused by my tonsils. Thank you for reading and I really appreciate the help.
