I was diagnosed with respiratory bronchiolitis. I work at a poultry plant in refrigeration. I work with ammonia. Because I am a smoker the doctors said it was smoking related. I was off work about 2 months and I was quitting smoking and I got better. I returned to work February 1, 2011. Now my trouble breathing and shortness of breathe and cough has returned. I am also having alot of pain and tightness in my chest and a burning sensation. I am wondering if the ammonia can cause this disease?
