Restrictive lung

I have been short of breath some time now.  Especially at night when I go to bed.  I wake up 3 and 4 times per night gasping for air. It also feels like I have a  lump of  phlem in my throat when I swallow.

PFT test have shown abnormal twice for mild restriction.

Doctors have since did CT Scan/ultrasound/stress test/ arterial blood test.  All came back normal.  Any ideas on what is causing this restriction or further testing that I could have done.  Results below:

Arterial  blood gas - normal acid base, normal oximetry and no metabolic disturbance

TLC 73
RV 21
IC 70
FIVC 51
FRC PL  71

FVC - 88
FEV1- 92
FEF2 5-75% -  84
PEF - 114

Thanks

We need to know if all these values are percent predicted or if some, such as the RV, is a percent of the TLC or such as the peak flow is 114 L/m.

That aside, the information provided suggests that you have asthma and might have gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with nocturnal aspiration.  That is what should be investigated.
