Rib Intercostal Pain

Have had pain right under my left nipple past 36 hours. It is a dull ache, becomes sharp if I cough, take deep breath or sudden movements. 2 days ago I had pain between left shoulder blade and spine that worked it's way around to the front over the past few days. Yesterday afternoon while sitting at computer, pain increased over 30 minutes until I was sweating and light-headed. I took 2 ibuprofen and laid down. Pain returned to level described above. Getting over a ongoing cough I've had the past week from cold last week. my diagnosis is intercostal strain. just wondering if could be pleurisy, don't think so.
