Rib is poping on one side,it seems to go in more and have some soreness there

One of my ribs on the right side keeps popping out when i flex my stomache, bend side ways, and on other movements too. ive looked up something called slipping rib syndrome and i have some of the syndromes but, not extreme pain which they say you wold have. On some days im sore around the area and sometimes i get little jabs of pain but nothing more then that ..yet.When i curl up at night to sleep on my side and feel the rib it feels like its lower down then the rest. Ive made a doctors appointment but is he just gonna think im over reacting?

This is not overreacting.  You may have sustained a separation of cartilage, where the rib joins your sternum.
